Recently, I've been finding myself reaching for lip products more than I ever have been before. Throughout this little change in my make-up habits, I have noticed that the lip products I have been using more than any other - are from the mighty Bourjois. I am a huge fan of their rice powder and nail polishes so being a fan of these lippys is no surprise!
Up first, are the ever so gorgeous shades from the Rouge Edition Velvet Liquid Lipstick collection. The ones I have are 04 Peach Club and 02 Frambourjoise and they both have a lovely, classy matte finish as well as pleasant smelling, smooth formula. Peach Club is one that surprised me in its colour, I was expecting a highly pigmented, strong peach shade like the packaging, but once I swatched it, it came out more of a pinky/red shade with small elements of peach - although this took me aback a tad, I love the shade now! Frambourjoise is a colour I picked up in the moment, I was in a rush and it was 3 for 2 - eeeek! When I got this home to test, I noticed that the packaging was a sort of a plummy red colour and that it would come out quite dark against my pale skin - but I was wrong. When applied, it is the most flattering shade of a raspberry red I have tried yet, which is amazing as those shades tend to wash my skin tone out quite a bit!
My next favourite is a lovely peachy/gold number from the Rouge Edition Lipstick range called 03 Pêche Cosy. This is a well pigmented lipstick which I prefer to apply in a light layer with a brush to add a bit of shimmer to my lips rather than the full on colour. This is because, on my lips, it shows up very much on the gold side of things with hints of peach, which isn't a look I strive to have on a day to day basis.
Finally, I am a huge fan of lip crayons and the ColorBoost Lip Crayon in the shade 01 Red Sunrise is one of my favourites. I apply this straight from the tip for quick and easy application and I love the colour on my lips. It is a glossy pinky/red which is to die for! It is gorgeous and has the capability to compliment every skin tone.

DeleteI love lip products too! Was so impressed when I swatched the Velvet Liquid lipsticks in the shop, I definitely need to invest in some! You picked some really lovely shades, perfect for summer! I love the sound of Pêche Cosy too.
