Benefit and Elle really know how to make a beauty lover happy. A free sample of their new mascara - Roller Lash - with the March issue! Eek! Ever since I saw this announced I knew I had to try it out and this was the perfect way - since I love Elle anyway! It came with a lovely little cut out mask; so cute!
Now, onto the review part. The sample comes in the shade black with a curved brush; made to hug the lashes and give them more length and curl. I think that it is a wet formula compared to other mascaras, as when I have applied it I have to wait a while for it to dry out and so I can blink normally!
Aside from that little peeve, it is a wonderful mascara. I love how just one coat of it separates and defines my lashes well, though it doesn't add as much length in one coat as I'd like. However, it is build able which is great! You can more or less 'decide' how you want your lashes to look with this product as 2 layers on me creates a natural look whereas 4 makes them look more bold and extra defined.
When applying it, I move the brush slowly along my lashes so the bristles can work their magic on each little lash and ever so gently turn the brush. I find that this separates and defines the lashes well and helps them look longer - there is success in taking time!
Overall I am loving this little sample and will definitely be purchasing the full size when it comes out in March! Another great product from Benefit - fab!
The only thing that others are finding as a peev is the fact that on already long lashes it creates a spidery look on your lashes. I can't wait to try this little goodie!

I don't have long lashes so I luckily don't have that problem haha! I was so excited to try it and reeeeally want the full size version! xo
