Ah the 'five product face' - something I like to think I'm pretty good at. Slathering 5 little wonders on my face means I have more time to eat my breakfast (or more helpings) but it also means more time in bed - result. I'm the sorta gal who would rather look reasonably presentable than one who looks intensely immaculate though behind the scenes is an utter grouchy/tired/hungry mess.
Complexion wise, my secret weapon is the Bourjous Radiance Reveal Concealer in 01 Ivory. I don't tend to use foundation, only for special occasions or if my skin is going through a bad phase. So concealer is my best friend. This applies so smoothly and is super easy to blend, offering a light to medium coverage - not too heavy on the skin which is fab. It also smells great too, bonus!
Popping onto my brows, is the NYX Tame and Frame Brow Pomade in Blonde. Recently, I can't bare to leave the house without doing my brows so this little pot is well loved - the perfect texture to sweep through the brows. It is also very buildable, allowing both a natural look and a more defined brow.
My eyes is where most of the magic happens with these products. I'm a huge fan of subtle, shimmery eye looks and most lately, this is my go to eye shadow look. I use the No7 Stay Perfect Shade and Define shadow stick in Cool Mink all over my lid, blending it up and out into my crease. On top, I blend in some MAC Sable eyeshadow which is the perfect golden/plummy shade with a frosted finish. The two together create a lovely, subtle golden plum smokey eye - so easy for day to day wear.
Lastly, comes my mascara. I am a self confessed mascara obsessor, I'm always buying and testing them - I think I might need an intervention!! Anyways, a few lashings of the Elizabeth Arden Grand Entrance Mascara and I'm good to go. This mascara has a great formula, not too wet and not at all clumpy which, with the curved brush, creates the illusion of long, defined lashes.
Voila. There we have my simple, go-to 5 product face. Totally hassle free. Let me know what you think about my regimen!

Love looks that require minimal products + minimal effort, especially when my lazy self can't drag myself out of bed in time in the mornings! I'm definitely all about the eyes too, I'll happily skip all the other makeup steps so long as I have winged liner!
