Winter Season Everyday Make Up

As the seasons change, so does my everyday make up routine. As we've stepped into the colder months my routine has changed to one that focuses more on skin hydration as my skin is dry at the best of times - the cold just makes it a tad worse.

For my base I like to use my Nivea Daily Essentials Express Hydration Primer with the Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue Gel Cream. I have found that these 2 little wonders work well together on my dry skin as they are both super hydrating, but not overwhelming as to leave your skin feeling like you have tonnes of sticky cream on your face. I love using these this time of year - they're like my skin saviours!

On my brows I use the Benefit Gimme Brow as most of the time I don't have the time to faff around with doing them so I sweep this across my brows and I'm all done - bobs your uncle!

I don't know about you but I love a cool/frosty toned smoky eye this time of year. I don't have the time to go all out with my eye make up in the mornings (my bed is waaaay too cosy!) but I do try and make an effort. I use my little ARTDECO trio eyeshadows - sweeping shade 205 all over my eyelid, adding a pop of 208 to the outer corners and blending inwards and adding 002 in the crease for added definition. I also like to line my eyes with the Maybelline Master Ink Matte eye liner, creating a slight flick, it definitely is my favourite eyeliner at the moment. Then I lash on a couple of coats of Benefit Rollerlash mascara to add more curl to my lashes.
